What is PodCampCLT?
Based on the EdCamp, BarCamp and TeachMeet "unconference" models, PodCampCLT is a 1 day conference event focused on PODCASTING in Charlotte, North Carolina. Collaborative, participant-led sessions will focus on topics including:
Sharing favorite podcasts
Options for podcatcher software (podcast listening / consumption)
Tips for starting your own podcast
Mobile podcasting with Spotify for Podcasters
Techniques for Audio Editing and Normalizing Audio
Techniques for using AI in your podcasting workflow
Options for Podcast Publishing

Outsourcing podcast production

Overview
PodCampCLT is a full day (8 hour) conference experience with an hour and a half break for lunch on your own. Morning start time is 8:30am. Our conference ends at 4:30pm.
Morning sessions focus on FINDING, LISTENING, REFLECTING on and SHARING podcasts.
Afternoon sessions focus on CREATING: RECORDING, EDITING, PUBLISHING and AMPLIFYING podcasts.

Welcome and introductory icebreaker activity
Invitation to document table talk / links on your "table Google Doc"
Invitation to share a tool for our 1 pm "Software Smackdown"
Activity: Share and discuss YOUR favorite podcasts and podcasting software tools
9:30 - 9:45 Morning break
9:45 - 10:45 Session 2 - EdCamp / BarCamp Conversations
In the style of EdCamp / BarCamp share a podcasting topic you want to share about and/or learn about.
Join a table conversation about this topic.
"Vote with your feet" (Be empowered to move / relocate / select a different table if a conversation is not meeting your needs. Find a conversation that interests you!

What software programs, apps, and websites do you use for podcasting?
What AI tools are powerful (and worth the subscription cost) for podcasting?
Submit the name, link, and a short description of your tool and share a 2 - 3 minute "pitch" about the tool with our attendees

Learn about software / apps for podcast recording, editing and publishing.
Join a table conversation facilitated by a podcast creator
2:30 - 2:45 Afternoon Break
2:45 to 3:45 Session 4 - Panel Discussion: Amplifying Marginalized Voices via Podcasting
Learn from a diverse and experienced panel of Charlotte-area podcast creators.
What lessons can we learn as we share our personal journeys as podcasters?
What stories can we share about the power and potential of podcasting to amplify historically marginalized voices within our wider culture?
3:45 - 4:30 Closing Session and Share Out
The conference will be 9am to 4pm in uptown Charlotte in Hope Hall at Caldwell Presbyterian, with an hour break to enjoy lunch at one of many nearby restaurants. Tickets and registration details will be posted soon!
